To me, they're not even people

On Tuesday, Forbes published a bombshell report detailing the various ways in which Eric Trump and Donald Trump allegedly funneled $1.2 million that should have gone to kids with cancer to the Trump Organization.

Look, there's no point in throwing a fit every time Trump or someone close to him says something offensive, and it'd be exhausting to even try. He's raised some $11 million for the hospital through events at the golf course.

In the first several years of Eric Trump's foundation, the golf tournament seemed to be functioning relatively normally, with expenses averaging about $50,000-higher than you would think would be necessary if the golf course was being offered for nothing, but not out of bounds.

His statements, however, works within a pattern for Eric, who, along with the other Trump children, has created controversy with his statements when discussing his family. Even if the Eric Trump Foundation had to pay the full rate for literally everything, Forbes couldn't come up with a plausible path to $322,000 given the parameters of the annual event (a golf outing for about 200 and dinner for perhaps 400 more). But in 2011, the costs jumped from $46,000 to $142,000.

Trump - one of President Donald Trump's five children - also said Democrats are obstructing the current administration.

ACLU against effort to allow Trump travel ban
The first, issued on January 27, led to chaos and protests at airports and in major US cities before it was blocked by courts. The Justice Department argued that the lower courts were wrong were therefore wrong to apply the enforcement ban nationwide.

Eric Trump on Tuesday night said Democrats supporting the investigation into Russian Federation and his father's campaign "are not even people".

Notably, at the same time when Donald Trump made a decision to charge Eric's charity, and the cost for each event escalated, four of the original seven board members were replaced by 14 new members, most of whom were in some way making money from Trump organization.

Eric Trump's organization was set up as a charity so that it could accept outside donations and channel the donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.

'We paid third party cost and expenses and related items we could not get donated.

It's not the Democrats who forced the Republicans to pull their original health care bill in the House. A year later, the Foundation stopped donating money to St. Jude's and instead distributed its funds to charities - and later, clients - of the Trump family. But when the Trump family starts dabbling in accusing some Americans of not even being "people", while lamenting the absence of "morality", it's probably best not to dismiss the rhetoric too quickly. He literally took money away from kids with cancer and other illnesses. "In the early years, they weren't being billed [for the club] - the bills would just disappear", Ian Gillule, a former membership and marketing director at Trump National in Westchester told Forbes.
