Microsoft is also retiring the successful Wunderlist, and it is being replaced by 'To-do list.' The to-do list is nearly the same as Wunderlist. Your Outlook Tasks will sync with To-Do, so you can access and manage them across your devices.

To help you focus on what you need to do today, you have the My Day list which starts out empty every day and you just need to populate it with what you actually need to finish today. The eternal chicken-and-egg situation of low usage both causing weak app support and being caused by weak app support continues to be something that Microsoft has little interest in fixing.

For example, if there was something you didn't get done yesterday, but perhaps should have, that could appear as a task suggestion. As reported by ZDNet, users of To-Do lists can also be personalized and assigned emoji, which can easily tell them apart from the others.

After spending some time with To-Do on iPhone, my initial impressions are that it's a handsome, simple task management tool that very much feels like a worthy successor to Wunderlist. Some of my contacts said they believed Microsoft did this because Wunderlist wasn't built on Office 365 and didn't use Microsoft technologies under the hood. To get access to the preview, users need Office 365 Home, Personal, Business Essentials, Business Premium or Enterprise E1, E3 and E5 subscriptions.

Volkswagen ordered to pay $2.8 billion in United States diesel emissions cheating scandal
The $2.8 billion fine is part of a larger $4.3 billion settlement reached in January between Volkswagen and the the U.S. Cox railed against corporate greed during Friday's hearing. "Plain and simple it was wrong", Doess said.

In addition to the expected and included Microsoft-related features (like integration with Microsoft Office) the big selling point being put forward by Microsoft is To-Do's "Intelligent Suggestions". The new app is only available in a "preview" version although it is available on a number of platforms including Android, iOS, and Windows 10, as well accessible via the web. And now Microsoft believes they have an even better solution on offer in the form of another app named Microsoft To-Do. The app was created by the Wunderlist team, and it will eventually replace that older app.

Microsoft is looking for feedback on its new system, so if you have something to say about it, don't be afraid to let the company know. It's lacking a few features still, like list sharing and collaboration, but that's all on the way.

Sadly then, for those that hedged their bets and became part of the Microsoft ecosystem in hopes that you would welcomed with open arms, it appears as if your bet was misplaced.
