That's presumably for the Edge display, a feature seen in Samsung's previous curve-screen phones - like the Note 7 and S7 Edge - that provides various shortcuts to apps and contacts. But a new leak gives us a more complete look of what could be the Samsung Galaxy S8's full-body design. Well, the rendered image doesn't show a home button.

Insider Evan Blass posted on Monday what seems to be the first real photo of a Samsung Galaxy S8 handset that has been made public (see photo below).

Samsung will be launching its much anticipated smartphone, the Galaxy S8 at an event on March 29 in NY. The only difference will the display size, with Galaxy S8 having a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display and Galaxy S8+ having a 6.2-inch super AMOLED display. The two phones are otherwise expected to be just about identical.

Samsung has not indicated when and where it will announce the Samsung Galaxy S8 instead, but shaky rumours from earlier this month tipped the phone for an April 15 launch in NY. The phones are expected to become available in April. Like the smaller S8 model, the Galaxy S8+ will be powered by either a Snapdragon 835 processor or a comparable Exynos model from Samsung.

Bloomberg also drops out of White House Correspondents' Dinner party
Trump has been the target of jokes at several correspondents' dinners in recent years, where he has typically been in attendance. But the hottest ticket on April 29 might not technically have anything to do with the Correspondents' Dinner at all.

All models will get the same 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and microSDXC expansion support up to 2TB.

In addition, the company has set the date for the Galaxy Unboxing event of the year. Though there are no physical buttons for navigating the OS, the leaked video has shown the fingerprint sensor which is located at the back beside the camera. It makes us appreciate the upcoming phone's dazzling design. Power and volume buttons sit on one side edge, while the other is home to a button believed to be tied to Samsung's new virtual assistant Bixby.

The display of the S8 will take up most of the front, while all the necessary sensors such as the front-facing camera and infrared sensor for retina detection will all be crammed up top.
